About Me

Kelli Wise, BS LMP

License MA00022573

I'm a graduate of Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage specializing in deep tissue and therapeutic massage to help my clients lead an active, pain-free life. I was also one of the instructors at Bodymechanics, teaching business, ethics & communication skills to the next generation of massage therapists.

Engineering Background

Before I became a massage therapist, I was an electrical engineer and engineering manager in the high tech world. This has given me a tremendous insight into the stresses and injuries that are common in today's work world. My work in the computer field led me to an interest in how to treat Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and the dreaded "sore shoulders" complaints.

My 24 years as a design engineer provided me with a strong background in troubleshooting and science that is critical in helping me find the source of my clients' pain. I have a Bachelor of Science degree (that's the BS in my title) and am drawn to the medical aspects of massage.

I do not do any form of energy work, but if this is the type of therapy you are looking for, I can highly recommend Kristine Holbrook, trained in Tui Na and Spinal Touch. She has recently moved to Washington after practicing for several years in Utah and does excellent work. She is also located in the Marston Center.
